Step-Wise Recipe for Healthy and Delicious Banana Chips

Banana Chips are the famous breakfast of South India. It is made with raw banana and coconut oil. This easy to prepare snack recipe can be served with hot tea or coffee. So, let us tell you the recipe for this delicious and healthy snack.

Ingredients:

Green Raw Banana – 6

Turmeric powder – 1/4 teaspoon

Coconut oil – 2 cups

Pinch of salt

Method of making banana chips:

 Step 1:

First, remove the banana peel and put it in salted ice water. Finely chop the banana in water and add turmeric powder to it.

 Step 2:

Allow the sliced ​​bananas to remain in ice water for 10 minutes and then drain the water.

 Step 3:

Now heat oil in a pan. Fry the banana pieces in hot oil until they are completely crisp. Instead of frying all the pieces of banana at once, fry it little by little.

 Step 4:

Make a paste of half a teaspoon of water and a quarter teaspoon of salt and put it in hot oil. Doing so will make your banana slices more crispy.

 Step 5:

When all the banana slices are fried, take it out on tissue paper so that the excess oil comes out. Banana chips are ready. Cool them and keep them in airtight containers.
