Mango Pickle: Try this Tangy Pickle Recipe at Home

Pickles is found in every house in India. By adding spices and oil to it, you can store it for several months. One can eat mango pickle with many other things. You will find many types of pickles in the market, but you can make it at home too without much effort. Learn how to make mango pickle at home.

Total Time: 1 hr

Ingredients:

2 raw green mango (cut into 4 to 8 pieces)

1 cup salt

3 tablespoons fennel seeds

3 tablespoons cumin powder

4 tablespoons mustard seeds coarsely ground

1 tbsp nigella seeds

1 tbsp fenugreek seeds

5 teaspoon red chilli powder

2 teaspoons turmeric powder

3 cups mustard oil

1-2 cups vinegar

Method of making mango pickle:

1. Add all the spices and half the oil and mix it well. Also, take a jar clean and dry.

2. Now put the mango pieces in the spices and mix them well. Now fill them in the jar.

3. Now put the remaining spices and oil on top.

4. Now keep this jar in the sun every day. Simultaneously keep mixing with it.

5. Pickles will be made within a month which you can easily eat with paratha or your favorite recipe.
