Akash Singh

Eating Kulfi and ice cream in summer is a different fun. Ice cream or kulfi is not easily available in lockdown, but you can enjoy this sweet dish by making kulfi from this recipe at home.

Total Time: 1 Hr

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

2 cups finely chopped almonds

2 cups condensed milk

Half cup milk

8 tbsp cream

1 tsp Saffron

1 tbsp whole almonds

 How to Make Kulfi:

Whisk almonds, cream and condensed milk well in a large vessel and make a thick paste. Put the milk in a pan on low heat to boil and add saffron to it. When the saffron mixes well in the milk and the color of the milk also changes, then turn off the heat and keep it to cool down.

Now mix the saffron milk with the prepared paste. Dry roast the whole almonds in a pan on low heat and finely chop them. Mix some of these almonds in the kulfi mixer and keep some aside for garnish. Now pour this prepared mixture into the mold of the kulfi and place it in the freezer for about 4 hours by placing a lid. After 4 hours remove the kulfi from the mold and garnish with roasted almonds and saffron and serve cold.
