Girls often like to wear boyfriend's clothes. Especially t-shirts, shirts and hoodies. But do you know that wearing a boyfriend's clothes reduces the girls' mental stress. We are not saying this, but a research has revealed this. Let's know what research says.

What does research say?
Research said that despite being in a relationship, if you often feel anxious and lonely, then wear lover's clothes to reduce your pain. According to researchers at the University of British Columbia, the smell of a partner wearing anything helps reduce stress, loneliness and anxiety.

How was the research done?
Researchers selected women who were in relationships in the research. After this, he was given three different smells to smell which contained a stranger, a lover or a familiar smell. The women were asked to wear the same dress for 24 hours before giving their partner clothes so that they leave a strong trace of their smell. After sniffing the shirt, an interview was done with the intention of increasing the stress level of the participants.

Research Results-
When researchers recorded the stress and cortisol levels of the participants. Interestingly, women who were given clothes to bear the smell of their partner, had lower stress levels. Whereas, there was more tension among women sniffing a T-shirt worn by a stranger.

Lead study author Marlies Hofer said in a statement that many people wear their partner's shirt or sleep on their partner's bed when their partner is away. Due to this they live in less stress. He said that our findings suggest that the smell of the partner alone can play an important role in reducing stress.
