Dahi Vada Recipe: Try this Delicious and spicy Recipe at Home

Dahi vada is a very tasty and wonderful dish. You can eat it anytime after lunch or dinner. Everyone likes it.

 Total Time: 50 minutes

 Servings: 4 people

Ingredients:

1 cup washed urad dal

1 cup yogurt

1 piece Asafoetida

2 tsp Coriander Chutney

2 tsp red chutney

2 tsp oil

1 tsp cumin roasted

1 tsp chilli

Salt to taste

How to make Dahi Vada:

  1. To make Dahi vada, first take urad dal and keep it clean. Now take the lentils in a vessel and soak them in water and keep them for a while.
  2. Now separate the water from the lentils and grind the lentils finely in a grinder. Take the lentils in a bowl and whisk well for a few minutes. Add salt and asafoetida to it and beat well again.
  3. Take a pan and put oil in it and keep it on the gas for heating. Now spoon each mixture into the pan and fry the vadas. Likewise prepare vadas of all the mixture.
  4. Now remove these vadas in a plate and wait for them to cool down. After cooling, put these in a water and it will become soft.
  5. Now squeeze them out of the water to separate the water from the vada. After doing this, take a plate and add 3-4 vadas in it, add Dahi, green chutney, red chutney, salt, roasted cumin, red chilli powder etc. You can also add some more Dahi on top. Your delicious and wonderful Dahi vada is ready.
