Crispy Dosa: Try this Delicious Recipe at Home

Dosa is a famous South Indian recipe, but making crispy dosa is an art. Here we are telling you, the right way to make this recipe, which you can serve with sambar and chutney.

Crispy Dosa Recipe Ingredients:

½ cup urad dal

1 pinch of salt

½ cup refined oil

½ cup of boiled rice

1 medium thin sliced ​​onion

 Step 1:

To make crispy dosa recipe, first soak urad dal and rice in water for two hours and then make a fine paste of this mixture.

Step 2:

After this, to make the batter, mix a pinch of salt and all the ingredients to taste. Do not make the batter too thin.

 Step 3:

Keep this mixture for 6-7 hours to make yeast. When the batter becomes well leavened and smells from it.

Step 4:

Now keep a flat non-stick griddle for 10 minutes on low heat. Add one teaspoon of oil over it. Spread the oil evenly over the pan with the sliced ​​onion. The onion is used as a non-stick medium, increasing the non-stickiness of the pan.

Step 5:

Sprinkle some water over it, so that the excess heat is absorbed.

 Step 6:

Now, spread all the batter on the pan with a flat bottom bowl. Starting from the middle, spread the batter evenly on all sides.

 Step 7:

After this, spread the oil over the entire dosa, so that the oil spreads throughout the dosa. If you are making it on low heat then your patience will be needed. If you want, you can also turn the heat on high but not too much and keep an eye on how much the dosa has cooked.

 Step 8:

As soon as you see golden spots between the dosa and the edges, roll the dosa from both sides with a flat ladle. For this you may need practice.

 Step 9:

Serve hot with sambar and chutney.
