Chili Mushroom Recipe: Try this Mouth-Watering Recipe at Home

Chili Mushroom is a classic Indo-Chinese Snack Recipe that is loved by a large number of people, especially in India. This crunchy and flavored dish is usually served as a starter. It consists of deep-fried mushrooms, cornflour, maida, salt and pepper. This Chinese recipe is instantly prepared and is perfect for parties or get-togethers.

Chili Mushroom Ingredients:

Mushroom 200 grams

Onion 2 medium-sized

Garlic 2 tablespoons

Green Chili 1

Ginger 1 teaspoon

Green capsicum 1

Red chili powder 1 teaspoon

Corn Flour 2 tablespoons

Flour 3 tablespoons

Vinegar half teaspoon

1 cup sunflower oil

Pinch of salt 3

Tomato 1

Red Chili Sauce 3 tablespoons

For Garnish:

Handful of green onion

Handful of coriander leaves

How to make Chili Mushrooms:

 Step 1:

In a large pot, mix cornflour, maida, salt, soy sauce, vinegar and black pepper powder and mix well. Add mushrooms and mix well.

Step 2:

Heat the oil on medium heat and fry the mushrooms until they are golden brown. Remove from oil and place on tissue paper. Leave only 1 or 2 teaspoons of oil in the pan and remove the rest.

 Step 3:

Now add ginger, garlic, onion and green chilies to the oil and cook for a minute. When the onion turns golden, add red chili sauce and some water. When the gravy is cooked, add mushrooms to it.

 Step 4:

Cook the mushrooms until the water dries up. After that take out the prepared dish in a serving bowl and garnish with green onions and coriander leaves and serve.
