1226 New Cases of Coronavirus in Pakistan, Total Cases Exceeded to 2.73 lakh

The total cases of infected increased to 2,73,112 after 1,226 new cases of coronavirus infected were reported in Pakistan on Sunday. The Ministry of National Health Services said that the death toll has reached to 5,882 in the last 24 hours due to the death of 35 more patients. The ministry said that the condition of a total of 1,267 patients remains critical. The maximum numbers of 1,17,598 cases of infected is in Sindh.

Around 2,37,434 people have recovered from the disease across the country

This is followed by 91,901 in Punjab, 33,220 in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 14,841 in Islamabad, 11,578 in Balochistan, 2,023 in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and 1,952 in Gilgit-Baltistan. He told that around 2,37,434 people have recovered from the disease across the country. The ministry said that so far 18,68,180 tests were conducted in the country, out of which 23,354 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

Brazil is at number two with 2.3 million cases and India at number 3 with 1.3 million cases

At the same time, worldwide coronavirus infected cases have crossed 16 million mark. According to data from Johns Hopkins University in the United States, America has the highest numbers of 41 million infected cases. After this, Brazil is at number two with 2.3 million cases and India at number three with 1.3 million cases.

The United States is also at the top in terms of the deaths, where 1,46,460 people have died so far from this deadly virus. After this, the death toll is 86,449 in Brazil and 45,823 in Britain. New York has the highest number of deaths. Here 32,608 people have lost their lives since Covid-19 emergence.
