Four Astronauts Returned from the International Space Station after 200 Days, but Why were they all Wearing diapers?
Four astronauts are finally back on Earth after spending 200 days on the International Space Station. These astronauts landed in the Gulf of Mexico near Florida via SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule. Although there is a lot of discussion about coming down from space wearing their diapers. NASA also did a live telecast of the entire incident of the landing of these astronauts on Earth.
Astronauts landed on earth wearing diapers
These astronauts had to wear diapers while returning to Earth. Actually, the toilet of Elon Musk's company SpaceX's spacecraft Crew Dragon was damaged. Due to which these astronauts were advised to travel wearing diapers to avoid any trouble on the way.
In fact, during a three-day trip to space from Earth's orbit last month, the toilet of SpaceX's Inspiration 4 mission aircraft broke down, due to which urine started leaking inside the capsule.
Crew Dragon capsule looked like a meteor
SpaceX's Crew Dragon capsule appeared red in thermal images due to friction as it entered Earth's atmosphere at night. The capsule appeared like a meteorite in live thermal video imaging. The capsule's parachutes opened just before landing, reducing its speed to 24 kilometres per hour.
NASA postponed the landing due to the storm
US, French and Japanese astronauts were to leave the International Space Station on Sunday and their capsule was due to land in the Gulf of Mexico on Monday morning. But SpaceX postponed the end of its six-month mission until Monday afternoon due to wind speeds exceeding safe limits. Earlier, the journey of astronauts to Earth was to be 20 hours, but due to delay, it was later reduced to 8 hours.
