Why is PM Modi Silent on the Objectionable Statements of BJP Leaders: Chidambaram

Senior Congress leader P Chidambaram on Wednesday questioned the Modi government at the Center over the objectionable statements made by BJP leaders. Chidambaram tweeted and asked that abusive language is being used by BJP leaders, but why Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party chief are not taking any action on this?

Actually, Union Minister Anurag Thakur, MP from West Delhi Pravesh Verma and BJP President of West Bengal, Dilip Ghosh have recently given controversial statements. Condemning the BJP leaders, the Congress leader said that objectionable statements are being made by the BJP leaders, but no action has been taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi or the party president. Condemning the union minister Anurag Thakur and other BJP leaders, including MP Pravesh Sharma, he said that the language used by all of them is not appropriate, why the Prime Minister and BJP chief do not take action for this.

In the tweet, he also expressed the possibility that this time BJP leaders will leave politics. He said in his tweet that BJP will have to face defeat in Delhi Assembly elections.
