Telugu Desam Party (TDP) MLA in Andhra Pradesh Nimmala Ram Naidu slept outside the Municipal Commissioner's office in Palakulu city yesterday. He alleged that the YSRCP government was not working properly on the dengue issue and no officials were meeting him.

Naidu alleged that despite the loss of many lives, the YSRCP government was not working adequately on the issue of dengue in the state. He claimed that on Friday, he had been waiting for the municipal authorities in his office from 11 am, but no one was available to meet him. He said that he wanted to get help from the municipal administration to save people from dengue.

He came to the municipal office yesterday to talk to the special officer on cleanliness, power shortage and water supply in the city. During this time no one paid attention to them. He was there all day yesterday and protested about it. He stayed there overnight. MLA Ramanaidu said that he will remain here till the officials answer him.

TMP MLA Ramanaidu says that cleanliness in the town has been ignored for years. Drinking water, lack of street lights and problems of the road are not the focus of the government. He faxed it to the Collector for negligence on the Special Officer regarding the case. Ramanaidu expresses concern that the prevalence of diseases like dengue is due to lack of hygiene. 75 percent people said that street lights do not light. He said that contaminated water is being supplied from the taps. They want it resolved, if the officials do not respond, they will raise their voice against it.
