Supreme Court: Lalu Yadav’s Bail Plea Rejected

RJD chief Laloo Yadav, who is lodged in Ranchi jail in the fodder scam, has suffered a major setback from the Supreme Court. The court has rejected his bail petition. Lalu Prasad Yadav had sought bail on the medical ground but the court dismissed the petition during the hearing on Wednesday.

Earlier, the Supreme Court had approved the plea of Lalu on April 5 for the hearing. In his petition, Lalu had appealed for bail from the Supreme Court after forming his age and the basis of the disease. He said that he has become 71 years old.
