Representatives of the Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Students' Union met in a high-powered committee constituted by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) to restore normalcy in the university in the administrative building of the campus on Friday. No final decision was taken in this. The student union said after the meeting was over that the strike would continue. The four students' union representatives also submitted a memorandum to the committee regarding their demands.

The chairman of this committee of three members is the former chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Prof. VS Chauhan. All India Technical Council (AICTE) Chairman Prof. Anil Sahastrabuddhe and UGC Secretary Prof. Rajneesh Jain is also involved in this. He was accompanied by a meeting of JNU Students Union President Ishi Ghosh, Vice President Saket Moon, General Secretary Satish Chandra Yadav and Joint Secretary M Danish on Friday evening. The meeting started at 4 pm and ended at 6 pm. After this Aishi Ghosh said that the students' strike will continue, no compromise will be made with the demands. At the same time, the High Level Committee told the Students Union that they will submit a report in this matter to the MHRD in three days. A decision is expected to be taken after that.

Saket Moon said that the hostel fees raised by the administration should be immediately withdrawn. The meeting of the Inter Hall Administration (IHA) committee regarding the new rules of hostels should be held again and the students' union representatives should be included in it. The rules of hostels should be implemented by negotiating within the democratic values ​​of the institution. It should not be decided by a high level committee.

Students of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) have complained to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) against the police and the Central Reserve Security Force (CRPF) on Monday's incident. Students said that the university students had taken out a peaceful march on Monday to go to Parliament from JNU. During this time, Delhi Police and CRPF used force, in which students were injured. On Friday, Vishnu Prasad, a councilor of JNU's School of International Studies and a member of NSUI, said on Friday that a complaint has been made to the NHRC on behalf of three students.
