Schools in Delhi to Remain Closed till 15th November

In view of dangerous pollution in Delhi-NCR, all government and private schools will remain closed till 15 November. The Environmental Pollution Control and Prevention Authority (EPCA) had instructed the administration in all Delhi-NCR to close the school in view of fatal pollution.

Delhi's Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has tweeted and directed to close all government and private schools of Delhi by 15 November. DM of Gautam Budh Nagar has issued an order to close all the government and private schools up to class 12th in the district. Apart from this, schools in Gurugram and Faridabad will also be closed on 14-15.

Air pollution in the capital Delhi is still at alarming levels. In view of this, Pollution Control Authority EPCA on Wednesday ordered the Delhi-NCR schools to be closed for the next two days i.e. 15 November. The panel has suggested people to avoid going out and work from home if possible.

The Environmental Pollution Control and Prevention Authority (EPCA) has banned the use of hot mix plants and stone crushers in Delhi-NCR till 15 November. It is noteworthy that before this, the Supreme Court had banned construction and demolition till 4 November.
