PM Modi Launched RuPay Card in Bhutan

Prime Minister Modi, who arrived in Bhutan on his two-day tour, reached Tashichodzhong Palace in the afternoon to meet Bhutan King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck. The Prime Minister was given a grand welcome and a Guard of Honor was also given here. After this, PM Mod launched the RuPay card in the presence of PM Lotte Schering.

He will then hold delegation-level talks with his Bhutanese counterpart Lotte Tshering. The highlight of the visit will be the inauguration of the Mangdechhu hydroelectric project. During the visit, Modi will also address the Royal University of Bhutan.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Paro on Saturday at 11.30 am on a two-day visit to Bhutan. He was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Bhutan Lotte Tshering at the airport here. After the reception, the Prime Minister was given a guard of honor at the airport itself.

After this, Prime Minister Modi reached the Taj Tashi Hotel in Thimphu where a large number of people from the Indian community were waiting for him. Prime Minister Modi met these people.
