Nine Year Old Girl Dies of Coronavirus in Chhattisgarh

A nine year old girl in Bilaspur, district of Chhattisgarh was confirmed to be infected with the Corona virus after her death. Officials of Bilaspur district's health department said on Tuesday that a nine-year old girl from Masturi police station area of ​​the district died on May 30. Her secimen was reported on June 1, which confirmed her to be infected with the corona virus. Doctor Arti Pandey of Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences (Sims) of Bilaspur said that a laborer family resident of Dangniya village of Masturi area reached Sims Hospital in Bilaspur on May 29 from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh.

The nine year old girl in the family was in poor health and was admitted to Sims. Doctor Pandey told that the girl was suffering from blood disorder and she was having blood vomiting, after treatment one day, on May 30, the patient's family took her to their home after discharging her against medical consultation. She said that before going to the hospital, the sample of the girl was sent to Raipur for examination.

The report of the sample was received on the evening of June 1 wherein she was found to be infected with the corona virus. Health officials in the district said that they have received information that the girl died after reaching home from Sims and on the second day, she was cremated on 31 May. He said that after getting information about the girl being infected with Corona virus, the Health Department has reached the village of Dungania and sent a sample of people who came in contact with her for investigation, and all have been isolated.
