Modi Government Strict on Target Killing in Jammu and Kashmir

The Modi government at the Center has become strict regarding the Target Killing in Jammu and Kashmir. More than 5,500 additional personnel of the Central Armed Police Force (CPF) have been sent to give a befitting reply to the terrorists who openly killed civilians in the Valley using state-of-the-art weapons and techniques of China under the patronage of Pakistan.

55 new companies of central forces should be deployed in the Kashmir Valley

According to media reports quoting officials, additional companies of CAPFs have been sent to the Valley as part of the strategy to beef up the security system in Jammu and Kashmir and give a befitting reply to the terrorists at the ground level. Officials told the media that the Union Home Ministry and Modi Government had directed in October itself. About 55 new companies of central forces should be deployed in the Kashmir Valley against the target killings of terrorists.

He said that the last five companies of this exercise would be deployed by next week. Of these, 25 companies belong to CRPF and the rest belong to the Border Security Force (BSF). However, there are about 100 personnel in a CAPF company.

BSF guards the Line of LAC between India and Pakistan

CRPF personnel have been extensively deployed for law and order and counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir. However, about 60 battalions (about 1,000 personnel in each battalion) regularly operate in Kashmir's summer capital Srinagar and other parts of the Valley. as deployment. In addition, the BSF guards the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between India and Pakistan under the operational command of the Army and some of its units also handle law and order in cities.

New bunkers have been set up in the valley and searches have been stepped up. However, Central and state policemen are continuously checking vehicles. Even women CRPF personnel have been deployed to search the women in the vicinity of Lal Chowk.
