Manohar Parrikar Meet Bharat Ratna, CMO Preparing to Send Name

According to the top sources of Goa CMO, the discussion is going on for nominating the late Manohar Parrikar for the country's highest civilian award Bharat Ratna next year. It is being told that this idea is the brainchild of the present Chief Minister Dr. Pramod Sawant. Although the official decision is yet to be taken, the informal conversation has begun.

The CMO's source said, "He was also the country's largest leader not only for Goa but also as Defense Minister of India. So, there are qualified candidates. ' The formal decision will be taken by the newly elected CM Pramod Sawant who is considered to be the closest associate of the departed Parrikar.
