Seven civilians were killed by terrorists in Kashmir last week

Kashmir's Inspector General of Police (IGP) Vijay Kumar told reporters on the sidelines of a function here that none of the residents who were killed last week were provided security by the police. Seven civilians, including four from the minority community, were killed by terrorists in Kashmir last week, triggering fear in the Valley and political parties criticizing the security apparatus.

IG Vijay Kumar said, there was no security lapse. They (terrorists) chose easy targets, we did not provide them (civilians) security. It is not possible to provide security to all soft targets.
