ICAI Postponed CA Examinations to be Held on November 9, 2019

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has postponed all CA examinations to be held on November 9, 2019. ICAI has not announced any new date yet.

According to a notice put on the website, 'All exam foundation paper 1, Final paper 5, IRM paper 1, INTT A.T. and the DISA ET paper is deferred. Exams to be held both within and outside the country will be postponed. The date of these exams will be announced later.

Meanwhile, schools, colleges and all other educational institutions in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka and Delhi will remain closed. This has been done in the wake of the Supreme Court's decision on Ayodhya.

On the other hand, recruitment exam for clerk posts in the subordinate courts of Haryana will be held on 10 November. The examination will be conducted from 10 am to 12 noon at 30 examination centers in the district. District Magistrate Atul Kumar has issued orders to implement Section 144 within 200 meters of the examination centers with a view to complete this recruitment examination in a peaceful manner. Apart from this, carrying a mobile phone or other type of communication device to the examination center will also be banned. According to DM, non-compliance of these orders will lead to legal action as per rules.
