Dengue Situation worsens as Cases increased in Delhi

Even though the number of corona patients is decreasing in the capital Delhi, the havoc of dengue is increasing. In view of this, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has called a high-level meeting on Monday to review the dengue situation. In this, along with the Ministry of Health, officials of the Delhi government will also participate. During the meeting, the Health Minister will also discuss how the Center can help the Delhi government in containing the rise in dengue cases.

One-third of Corona's beds reserved for dengue patients

Dengue cases are increasing so fast in Delhi that one-third of Corona beds in government hospitals have been reserved. Patients suffering from seasonal diseases including dengue, malaria. On Sunday, the Delhi government issued instructions to the directors and medical superintendents of all hospitals. Saying that one-third of the beds reserved for corona patients would be used for the treatment of diseases like dengue, malaria and chikungunya.

Delhi government ready to fight dengue: Satyendar Jain

Given this information, Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that the number of corona patients has come down. Therefore, reserved beds in hospitals have been kept for patients suffering from dengue and other diseases. He said that all the preparations have been completed for the treatment of dengue in all the hospitals.

He even said that the government is working ahead on every front to fight dengue. Be it spreading awareness to prevent dengue or increasing the number of beds in hospitals to treat patients, the Delhi government is fully prepared at every level.
