Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Could Not File Nomination Today

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal could not file nomination on Monday because of all the time in the road show. After finishing the roadshow at Connaught Place, he said it was time to file nomination till three o'clock. Now on Tuesday, he will fill the form from the New Delhi Assembly seat with the whole family.

Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Monday started roadshows after offering prayers at the Valmiki temple. Apart from his family, several party leaders and workers were present on this occasion, including Deputy CM Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh.

Kejriwal was supposed to finish at Patel Chowk as per the schedule, but he ended up at the Hanuman temple in Connaught Place and left. Actually, he was supposed to file his nomination after the roadshow but the time is set till 3 pm. Due to lack of time, he postponed his nomination and decided to file on Tuesday.

Kejriwal is contesting from this seat for the third consecutive time from the New Delhi Assembly constituency. He has won this seat twice. Earlier, he made his first nomination in 2013 against the then Chief Minister Sheila Dixit. Won in this. Kejriwal became the Chief Minister for the second time in 2015, winning from the New Delhi Assembly.
