Chhattisgarh: 6100 Crore Loan Will Be Waived

After Madhya Pradesh, the Chhattisgarh Congress government has announced a major announcement for the farmers in the state by implementing their election promises. In fact, the Chhattisgarh Congress government has promised to waive the debt of 16 lakh farmers for 61 million rupees.

After Chhattisgarh CM Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel said, "Congress President Rahul Gandhi had announced that within ten days Loans will be waived and minimum support price (MSP) for maize will be increased to Rs. 2500 from Rs. 1700 per quintal.

Earlier, in the presence of thousands of supporters of Jamshedpur in Bhopal at around 2.43 pm, Kamal Nath was sworn in as Chief Minister. Governor Anandiben Patel administered his oath of office and secrecy. Within a few hours of taking the oath, the state government issued a release and announced a debt waiver. This decision will benefit those farmers who have taken short-term loans from cooperative or nationalized banks.

According to the situation of such farmers on March 31, 2018, the loan waiver up to 2 lakh rupees will be waived. In addition, the amount of subsidy received under Chief Minister Virgo scheme has also been increased to Rs 51000. The guest teachers have also restored and approved four garment parks.
