On Saturday morning a CRPF special train exploded at Raipur railway station in Chhattisgarh. Six soldiers including the head constable were brutally injured in the blast. The head constable was taken to the hospital. On the other hand, the other 5 have received minor injuries. It is being told that the accident happened while loading the goods. The detonator box got lost while the loading of the boxes was going on. Therefore, the box exploded over there.
According to the Police, at around 6.30 am, the special train of CRPF was standing on platform number 2. And at that time, the shifting of the soldiers was going from three different companies. While the baggage was loading, a box full of explosives got lost near the gate of bogie number 9. However, after some time the blast took place at the station. The injured were immediately taken to hospital.
Head constable Sushil Chauhan, constable Chavan Vikas Laxman, Ramesh Lal, Ravindra Kar, and Dinesh Kumar Paikra were injured in the blast. Head constable Vishal Chauhan has been admitted to Narayana Hospital in Raipur. Surgeon Dr. Neeraj Pandey told that Chauhan has injuries in his back, arms, legs, and head. There is a fracture in the head. He will have to operate. The good news is that he is out of danger. The remaining soldiers have left with the train with first aid.
CRPF DIG Rajkumar, who reached the hospital to see the injured soldiers, told that the blast took place during transportation. All the soldiers are out of danger. The train was going to Nagpur. Sometimes people get a bump while carrying luggage. This is a sensitive material. This is not negligence, such an accident can happen while carrying any sort of goods.
