The Delhi government has made preparations to give relief to the capitalists troubled by the price of onion touching the sky. The Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi will soon provide cheap onions to the people. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Monday that the government is buying onions. The sale of this onion is expected to begin in ten days. The price of this onion will be Rs 24 a kg. The government will sell onions through all ration shops and mobile vans.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal says that in view of the sudden increase in prices of onions, the government has now decided to sell onions itself. Asked questions about skyrocketing prices of onions during a press conference, Kejriwal said, "The Delhi government is going to take steps on the price of onions, like we did two-three years ago." We will try that around 24 rupees a kilo, we can supply more and more space through all our ration shops and mobile vans. He said that 'Tenders have been issued to transport onions, and I think we can start this supply within 10 days'.

According to Rajinder Sharma, wholesaler of onions in Azadpur Mandi, Delhi, 'The rain that should have ended a month ago in South India, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh is still happening, and where it is raining too much is. This has caused a lot of damage to onion crops. That is why the price of onion has increased. According to Rajendra Sharma, if the rains stop, the prices may start falling in the next one week or else after Rajasthan and Haryana crops will come after Dussehra, then prices will start falling.
