A Fierce Fire in the Bogie of the Telangana Express between Faridabad-Palwal

A fierce fire broke out in the bogie of Telangana Express between Faridabad-Palwal in Haryana on Thursday morning. Staff of Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Fire Department are trying to control the fire. CPRO of Northern Railway said that there was a fire in the break binding of Telangana Express at 7.43 am on Thursday morning. All passengers are safe in this incident.

The Telangana Express was coming to Delhi from Hyderabad. Due to this fire, rail operations on both the Faridabad-Palwal rail section have been affected. Fire Department employees are engaged in extinguishing the fire.

There is no news of any casualty in this incident of fire. A senior railway official said that the fire broke out at Asauti station at around 7.43 am in Train number 12723, after which several fire engines were dispatched to the spot.

The official said that the train had passed through Asauti station but had to stop between Asauti and Ballabgarh. Traffic on the track has also been stopped due to heavy smoke. The official said the fire was caused by the brake binding of the ninth coach's wheels. (Input from IANS)
