People are afraid of hearing the name of Coronavirus where the whole world is fighting against the threat of Coronavirus.  At the same time, a couple from Chhattisgarh named their twins born between lockdown as 'Corona' and 'covid'.
On 27 March, a woman gave birth to twins at Ambedkar Hospital.  One of which is a boy and the other a girl.  To reduce the panic of the corona virus from people's minds, they named the children Corona and covid.  He said the names would remind him of the difficulties encountered during the lockdown.
Originally from Uttar Pradesh, the couple lives in a rented house in Purani Basti area of the state capital.

Preeti said that on the late night of March 26, I suddenly had severe pain and somehow my husband arranged for an ambulance operated under 102 Mahtari Express service.  Traffic was not allowed on the roads due to the lockdown.  We were stopped by the police in many places.  I was wondering what would happen in the hospital at midnight, but luckily the doctors and other staff were very supportive.  My relatives also could not reach the hospital because of the lockdown.
However, the family said they could rename their children later.  Preeti, a 27-year-old mother of newborns, said that I have been blessed with twins.  My husband and I wanted to memorialize the difficulties encountered during delivery due to the lockdown.  So we named the boy covid and the girl named Corona.
