82 New Cases of Coronavirus Reported in Andhra Pradesh, Total Infected Reaches 1259 Figure

There have been 82 new cases of coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours in Andhra Pradesh, after which the total number of infected people in the state has reached 1,259 figure. It has been told in the official bulletin that no person has died in the state for the last four consecutive days from Covid-19.

The death toll in the state is 31. In the last 24 hours till 23 am Tuesday, 23 people have been discharged from the hospital, after which the number of discharged people has reached 258 figure in the state.

The most affected district in Andhra Pradesh is Kurnool where the total number of infected people is 332 with 40 new cases coming. After 17 cases in Guntur district and 13 in Krishna district, the total number of infected here has increased to 254 and 223 respectively. The bulletin said that 12 patients in Kurnool and 10 in Guntur were discharged from the hospital on Tuesday.

There are now a total of 970 active cases of Covid-19 in the state. In the bulletin, 5,783 samples were tested in the last 24 hours. So far, 80,334 samples have been tested in the state, of which 79,075 reports have been negative.

The state government says that the state is at the top in the country in the Covid-19 investigation by conducting more than 1,400 investigations per 10 lakh population. The Health Department says that there is a high rate of investigation behind more cases of infected people.
