78 New Cases of Coronavirus Reported in Chhattisgarh, Total Cases Increased to 1784

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 78 people in Chhattisgarh during the last 24 hours and with this, the number of patients of Covid-19 has increased to 1784 in the state. Giving this information on Tuesday, the Health Department said that 102 people were discharged on Tuesday after treatment from different hospitals in the state. Officials of the state health department said on Tuesday that coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 31 people in the state today and 47 in late Monday night.

MAXIMUM CASES IN BALODABAZAR

According to officials, on Tuesday, 12 people from Balodabazar district, 5 from Korba, 4 from Durg, 2-2 from Rajnandgaon and Narayanpur, and 2 from Raipur, Kawardha, Korea, Bilaspur, Mahasamund and Balod were among those who confirmed infected. Of the 47 people who were found confirm infected with the coronavirus infection late Monday night includes, 19 from Balodabazar, 10 from Raipur, 5 from Gariaband, 4-4 from Balrampur, and Rajnandgaon, 2 from Durg and one each from Janjgir-Champa, Mahasamund, and Surajpur.

FIRST CASE REPORTED IN NARAYANPUR

Officials said that for the first time a case of coronavirus infected has come up in Narayanpur district of the state. Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 2 soldiers of Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force in Narayanpur district and he further said that the ITBP chief constable and constable had returned from Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh on leave recently. After their return, they were placed in a separate residence. Officials said that after they fell ill, they were sent to the separate center of Narayanpur District Hospital on 10 June.

933 PATIENTS RECOVERED SO FAR

Earlier, coronavirus infection was confirmed in 5 ITBP personnel in Rajnandgaon and Kondagaon districts of the state. ITBP personnel has been deployed in Naxal-affected areas of the state and health department officials said that a total of 1,10,062 potential infected with coronavirus have been identified and their samples are tested in Chhattisgarh. So far, coronavirus infection has been confirmed in 1784 people and out of which 933 patients have been discharged after recovering. At the same time, 842 patients are also being treated.
