About 76 years ago 13 people started the Tablighi Jamaat in Bhopal.  Now the biggest level of country level jalsa is held every year.  It consists of 13–14 lakh people.  Born in 1885 at Kandhla in Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, Mohammad Ilyas Kandhalvi laid the foundation of the Tablighi Jamaat in 1927, but the ideology attained its greatest milestone in Bhopal.
Tablighi Jamaat was flourished by Mohammad Imran Khan and Maulana Yakub Bade Pir Sahab.  It started with a small mosque and later began to be held in Tajul Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Asia.  It started being organized at Itkhedi outside the city after a large number of people from the country and abroad came.  Preparations for this event to be held in November begin six months in advance.

Muslims influenced by Deobandi ideology put forward it as a campaign for the religious movement.  Tabligi Jamaat's procession continues in Islamic countries around the world.  In Bhopal, this Jalsa takes place in November-December.  Experts say that Tabligi Ijtima was started in 1944 in Bhopal.  Then only 13 people were involved in the campaign.
Haji Mohammad Haroon, president of Jamiat-e-Ulema Madhya Pradesh, says that the Tablighi Jamaat is being misinterpreted.  Nizamuddin is not just a mosque, but the center of the Tablighi Jamaat.  There are hostels and participants from the country and world gathered at the tablighi jamaat. There was also a lockdown when Corona was rapidly Spreading out .As per the convenience available to those people, they are leaving accordingly.
