Hockey India Announces Squad for Matches against Australia in FIH Pro Hockey League

Indian hockey announced the 24-member team on Tuesday for the upcoming matches against World No-2 Australia in FIH Pro Hockey League. The Indian Hockey Team will be led by Manpreet Singh. The responsibility of the vice-captain has been given to Harmanpreet Singh. The matches against Australia will be played at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on February 21 and 22.

The Indian team has recently climbed to No. 4 in the FIH World Rankings, Speaking about the team selected to take on World No. 2 Australia, Chief Coach Graham Reid said, "After having two high-intensity matches against the World Champions, we will be facing another strong team in Australia.
