There is No Threat to Muslims With the Citizenship Amendment Act: Kalve Jawad

The Muslim cleric Maulana Kalve Jawad has made a big statement about this amid the violence spread due to confusion over the Citizenship Amendment Act. He said that there is no threat to Muslims through the Citizenship Amendment Act. If there is any confusion about this law, then one should talk to the experts before taking any step along with making them aware of it.

Maulana said that any conflict with this law will benefit political parties and will harm Muslims. The parties want the loss of Muslims so that it can gain the sympathy of Muslims.

A number of Muslim community representatives were present, including Shia cleric Maulan Raza Hussain, Sufi cleric Maulana Moinuddin Ashraf, Shia cleric Maulana Shabhat Hussain, Sufi religious leader Maulana Jalaluddin, Maulana Hasnain Bakai, Maulana Alishah Malang. Who decided to do public awareness for the peace of the state by going to the society to clear their confusion.

Bharatiya Janata Party state president Swatantradev Singh said that the citizenship amendment law would not affect the interests of any Indian Muslim. The framework of this law was formulated after extensive negotiations, discussions and interaction with all the parties. Swatantra Dev Singh said during a meeting with the religious leaders of Muslim society, Sufi saints and enlightened people that the Citizenship Amendment Act does not affect the right of any Indian, regardless of religion.

It only talks of protecting persecuted religious minorities in Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh. The state BJP president appealed to everyone not to be misguided by anyone and discharge their role in maintaining peace and harmony. The party president said that the opposition is only working to spread confusion and mislead Muslims about it. In the last 60 years, the opposition adopted this strategy and deprived the minorities of basic facilities and their rights.
