He said that there is no threat to Muslims through the Citizenship Amendment Act. Maulana said that any conflict with this law will benefit political parties and will harm Muslims. The parties want the loss of Muslims so that it can gain the sympathy of Muslims.

Bharatiya Janata Party state president Swatantradev Singh said that the citizenship amendment law would not affect the interests of any Indian Muslim. The state BJP president appealed to everyone not to be misguided by anyone and discharge their role in maintaining peace and harmony. The party president said that the opposition is only working to spread confusion and mislead Muslims about it.
