Vishwanath Mahadeshwar is a Shiv Sena Politician from Mumbai, Maharashtra.  He is the Mayor of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation. He had also served as chairman of the civic education committee and was a member of the standing committee. He belongs to Wani community.

2007: Re-elected as corporate in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation

2012: Re-elected as corporate in Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation

2017: Elected as Mayor of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation

After the mayor residence at Shivaji Park was alloted for the construction of the Bal Thackeray Memorial Mumbai Mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar is all set to move into a new bungalow as the new Mayor Residence. Accordingly, the mayor Residence will be shifted to Rani Baug Mumbai where currently the Additional Commissioner resides.

Brihan Mumbai Municipal Corporation  A L Jarhad vacated the bungalow at Rani Baug and thus Mahadeshwar will now be residing at the bungalow.  

The residence at Rani Baug is a 6000 sq. ft. bungalow and the bungalow will be renovated, repainted and repaired by the municipal corporation as per the requirements of Mayor Mahadeshwar. As soon as the work is completed by BMC the Mayor will be handed over the keys for the residence.
