Police stopped a 12-year-old girl going to see Lord Ayyappa at Sabarimala temple in Kerala. During the online booking, the age of the girl was stated to be 10 years, but when the police saw her Aadhar card during checking, according to her, the age of the girl turned out to be 12 years. After that the girl was not allowed to go beyond the Pamba camp. However his family moved forward.

The temple of Lord Ayyappa in Sabarimala, Kerala has been opened on Saturday. On Saturday, 10 women who entered the temple were returned. The women were returned from Pamba Base Camp, which was also seen protesting. Social activists said that preventing women from entering the temple is against the Supreme Court verdict.

Significantly, a five-judge bench headed by former Chief Justice Gogoi gave an important verdict last year regarding the entry of women between the ages of 10 and 50 into the Sabarimala temple in Kerala. Three judges of the five-member bench had given their verdict on the right of women to enter the temple. A review petition has been filed on this decision, which has now been sent to the Constitution Bench for hearing.
