Entry Fee For Nandi Hills will be doubled

Bengaluru: One of the most popular tourist destinations in Bengaluru city is the Nandibetta, located in the Doddaballpur taluk at the city's outskirt. But, here is a new year shocker for tourists.

Starting from January 1, 2019, all the fees at this hills station will be doubled.

According to the horticulture department sources, starting from January 1, the entry fee will be double fro the existing Rs. 10 to Rs. 20. The parking fee per hour will be Rs. 20 which is also doubled. There is, however, no change in the camera fee.

Authorities have pointed at the Goods and Services Tax (GST) for the Increase in the ticket rate.

"Starting from January 1, 18% tax will be lived on each ticket. It has resulted in the increase, "informed authorities.
