Captain Amarinder Singh Met Former PM Manmohan Singh

Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh met former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh at his residence in New Delhi today. He invited Manmohan to join the first batch of Shri Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara. Along with this, he was also invited to participate in the main event organized in Sultanpur Lodhi on the occasion of 550th Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Nanak Dev.

Former PM Manmohan Singh was invited by Pakistan to attend the inauguration ceremony of Kartapur Corridor. Pakistani Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi had said to invite him. But Manmohan Singh immediately responded to this and rejected the invitation of Pakistan.

Earlier, Punjab CM Capt Amarinder Singh and PM Modi met today. The CM of Punjab urged the Center to cancel the Indus water system of the 3 eastern rivers of the state as a national project, so that water conservation and economic growth of the region can be increased.
