On the lines of Delhi NCR, now the weather in major cities of Rajasthan is deteriorating day by day. The situation in the two cities of Rajasthan today was worse than Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Noida. The Air Quality Index (AQI) level was recorded above 350 in Kota, Udaipur today. If experts are to be believed, the major reason behind deteriorating AQI levels in cities like Kota, Udaipur is the increase in winter and humidity levels.
If we look at the data received from the Pollution Control Board, today the highest AQI level quota of 364 was recorded. Whereas in Udaipur this level was 354. Whereas Delhi has 342, Faridabad Ghaziabad 328, Greater Noida 320, Gurugram 326, and Meerut's AQI level is 352 today. Apart from Kota and Udaipur, the situation remained dangerous in Jodhpur today, where the AQI level reached 315.
In this case, the situation in NCR area Bhiwadi was slightly better than the previous days. In Bhiwadi, where the AQI level had crossed 470 on Saturday, the situation has improved and today the AQI level has come down to 333. Although still, Bhiwadi is coming in the Red Zone.
According to experts associated with the weather and pollution board, due to increasing winter and moisture in the atmosphere, the pollution level in cities like Udaipur, Kota has reached such a dangerous level. According to experts, the carbon particles emitted from vehicles and industrial units are not able to reach high altitudes due to high humidity in the air. They remain at the lower level in the sky, due to which the climate of the cities deteriorates. According to the Meteorological Department, the humidity level in Kota has reached 82 percent. Whereas in Udaipur it is around 78 percent.
Today the AQI level in Jaipur stood at 282, while it was recorded at 129 in Ajmer, 163 in Alwar, and 274 in Pali. According to respiratory experts, as the level of cold increases, the problems for asthma patients will start increasing. Because due to poor air quality, the level of pollution in the environment increases, and asthma patients have trouble breathing. Apart from asthma patients, this season is also very bad for the elderly and people with low immunity. Because it has a direct effect on the lungs, which have less working capacity.
