Veteran Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan said goodbye to this world today. She breathed her last at Guru Nanak Hospital in Mumbai, the choreographer has died due to cardiac arrest. Saroj was suffering with diabetes and related diseases. She was buried in the cemetery of Malad, Mumbai. After news came in the media that Saroj Khan did not get the job, Salman Khan met her and promised her to give work in his next film. Salman Khan and Saroj Khan had already worked in many films including the films 'Biwi Ho To Aisi' and 'Andaz Apna Apna'.
In an interview, the choreographer said that she had no work at the moment. Saroj also got a chance to choreograph Katrina Kaif in 'Thugs of Hindustan' released in the year 2018, when the actress refused to work with her. Saroj had said in an interview – 'I had to choreograph Katrina's song in' Thugs of Hindustan 'earlier, but Katrina was not ready to dance without rehearsal. For this reason, I was replaced and Prabhu Deva choreographed Katrina Kaif's song. However, in the year 2019, Saroj got the job again. Last year, Saroj Khan choreographed the film Song 'Tabah Ho Gaye' on Madhuri Dixit in Karan Johar's film Kalank. She was very happy to do this song. Everyone knows that Madhuri was Saroj's favorite student.
Saroj Khan had said in an interview, 'I want to do something good for the industry, given the circumstances of the dance now. I can't judge actresses because I've only seen them in songs that others choreograph. Katrina looks good and had a chance to work with her in the film Thugs of Hindustan but as soon as the shoot was about to start, she told the makers that she would not perform the song without rehearsal and my job was given to Prabhu Deva.
