His son Vindu Dara Singh has stated his father's last wish in an interview. According to the news of Bollywood Life, Vindu Dara Singh told that his father's last wish was to see Ramayan again.

Vindu said, 'My father had expressed his desire to see Ramayan once again in his last time. He said that I want to see Ramayan once again. When he used to sit watching Ramayana, he used to watch five episodes at a time.'

Vindu further said- 'My father played Hanuman's role thrice in his acting career. In the film 'Jai Bajrang Bali' released in the year 1976, he had played the role of Hanuman for the first time. After this he became Hanuman in Ramanand Sagar's 'Ramayan'. For the third time he was in the role of Hanuman in BR Chopra's TV show 'Mahabharata'. After my father, many people played the role of Hanuman. But no one could do the role as he did.
