Harshita Sharma

The war drama, written and directed by Todd Robinson, portrays the account of two fights: a traditional story of combat fought in the jungles of Vietnam in 1966 and, after three decades, a man's battle for justice to seek recognition for his heroism.

The film stars Christopher Plummer, Jeremy Irvine, Samuel L. Jackson, Ed Harris, Peter Fonda, Diane Ladd, and Amy Madigan among others.

Irvine is given a role as William Pitsenbarger, an Air Force medic who spared more than 60 men in one of the clashes of Vietnam. He remained behind to attempt to spare more officers as opposed to leaving the battle zone. Plummer plays the war saint's dad Frank Pitsenbarger who, together with all survivors of the Vietnam war, fight appealed to the government to give the war hero the medal that he deserved.

Sebastian Stan is given a role as examiner Scott Huffman, who is assigned to probe the case and the reason behind why Pitsenbarger's medal was denied.

The film is brought to India by PVR Pictures.
