Singer KK Dies at the Age of 53 in Kolkata, was feeling Unwell After Performing in a Live Programme

On Tuesday night, KK, one of the most prominent Bollywood playback singers, died in Kolkata. The artist was in town to appear on a live television show when he became ill. He was 53 years old at the time.

KK was feeling ill when he arrived at his hotel after singing for about an hour at a concert earlier in the evening, according to authorities.

He was transferred to a private hospital in south Kolkata, where doctors declared him dead, according to reports. He had a few gigs in Kolkata.

"Regrettably, we were unable to treat him," a hospital official told PTI. His autopsy will be performed tomorrow, but reports suggest he died of a heart attack.

KK is a multilingual singer who has recorded songs in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, and Bengali, among others.

According to sources, when the show was airing, the singer told the organizers that he was not feeling well, but he still performed. He then became ill and returned to the hotel. His health worsened, and he was rushed to the hospital, where he died.
