Sidhu Moose Wala and Mankirt Aulakh Trapped Badly by Showing Gun Culture in Songs, FIR lodged

New Delhi: Punjab Police has registered a case against famous Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu alias Sidhu Moosewala and Mankirt Aulakh. He has been accused of spreading violence through songs and promoting gun culture. According to news agency ANI – Police has registered a case under sections 294, 504 and 149. It is also written in the FIR that he is promoting violence through his songs on social media. A case has been registered on the complaint of Punjab and Haryana High Court lawyer.

His song 'Pakhiya-Pakhiya-Pakhiya Gun Witch Panj Goliyan', 'Jatti Jo Mor Vargi', promotes violence. At present, the investigation of the case has been started by registering a case on both singers. According to media reports- Punjab CM Amarinder Singh had expressed concern over the violence in the songs and the promotion of gun culture, he refused to show any kind of decency to such singers. According to him – these people incite to walk on the path of violence and hooliganism.

The Punjab and Haryana High Court has directed the police chiefs of Punjab, Haryana and Chandigarh to ensure that no song promoting alcohol, drugs and violence.

Last month, Sidhu Mooeswala had also confronted journalists in Ludhiana, Punjab. Sidhu had reached the police station after receiving the notice, where journalists had asked him some sharp questions. On this complaint filed against him, he had clarified that he did not do anything intentionally. He fully respects the law. If anyone still feels that they have made a mistake, they apologised for it.
