Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' and Vicky Kaushal's 'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship' released at the box office this week have failed to earn the expected amount in theaters. Although Ayushmann's film seems to be far ahead in terms of earning than Vicky's film.
Film trade analyst Taran Adarsh has released the earnings figures of both films. According to him, 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' has done a business of Rs 2.62 crore at the box office on the sixth day. Earlier, the film had a turnover of Rs 9.55 crore on the first day, Rs 11.08 crore on the second day, 12.03 crore on the third day, 3.87 crores on the fourth day and Rs 3.07 crore on the fifth day. In this way, the film has done the business of Rs 42.22 crore in six days.
Talking about the earnings of Vicky Kaushal's film, 'Bhoot' has done the business of Rs 1.85 crore in theaters on the sixth day i.e. on Wednesday. Vicky's film got an opening of Rs 5.10 crore in theaters. The film earned Rs 5.52 crore on the second day, 5.74 crores on the third day, 2.32 crore on the fourth day and 2.10 crore on the fifth day. In this way, the film has done a business of 22.63 crores in six days.
'Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship' is directed by Bhanu Pratap Singh. Bhumi Pednekar has also worked with Vicky in this. Whereas 'Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan' has been directed by Hitesh Kevalia. In this film, Ayushmann has played the role of a gay. The film also stars actors like Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Gajraj Rao.
