As shooting is down in lockdown, many workers who worked in the industry were unemployed, who earn daily income. At the same time, there are also many people who do not have much work left in the industry. Shahid Kapoor has extended his hand to help some such dancers. Shahid has sent money directly to their accounts.

A Times of India report quoted former Bollywood dancer Raju Surani as saying that Shahid recently sent money directly to the accounts of such dancers with whom he has worked since the beginning of his career. There are about 40 such people. Shahid will continue to help them in the same way for the next 2-3 months.

According to the report, Shahid has worked with these dancers since the time of his first film 'Ishq Vishk'. It has been 17 years and the condition of them is now very bad. Many of these are not even working now. Apart from these, Shahid has also sent money to such dancers, with whom he worked in 'Dhating Nach', 'Shandaar' and side-by-side songs.

Shahid is helping choreographer Bosco's troupe 20 and Ahmed Khan's troupe's 20 dancers. During the lockdown, Shahid along with his wife Mira Rajput and children moved to Radha Swami Ashram in Beas, Punjab for quarantine. Shahid left for Radha Swami Ashram on March 17 before the lockdown.

Shahid himself is a great dancer. Early in his career, Shahid was part of the dance troupe. Shahid was seen in a song from Subhash Ghai's film 'Taal'. The lead dancer of the song was Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, while Shahid was involved in the background dancers.

Before the lockdown, Shahid was shooting for 'Jersey', a remake of the Telugu film by the same name. Shahid was last seen on the screen of the Hindi cinema in 'Kabir Singh', which was a huge hit.
