Salman Khan's bodyguard Shera joined Shiv Sena  today. Party gave official information on Twitter. Gurmeet Singh aka Shera, the bodyguard of Bollywood superstar actor Salman Khan, joined the Shiv Sena party on Friday. Shera is Salman Khan's bodyguard for a long time. The Shiv Sena has shared this information on its Official Twitter account. Gurmeet Singh joined the party in the presence of Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray and Yuva Sena at their residence.

Shera joined the Shiv Sena party in Matoshree, the residence of Uddhav Thackeray. Shera has been by Khan's side for over two decades, and the actor also dedicated his 2011 film 'Bodyguard' to him. In addition to being the 'Dabangg' star's side, he also owns and runs Tiger Security Services, an agency that provides security to several high-profile clients.

The dates of the assembly elections  in Maharashtra and Haryana were announced by the Election Commission. Voting will be held on October 21 in Maharashtra and Haryana and counting will take place on October 24. This is the first state election this year after the Lok Sabha elections. The term of the Haryana Legislative Assembly ends on November 2 and the term of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly ends on November 9.
