Meanwhile, reports started coming that Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone's film '83' could also be released directly on the web and not in theatres. However, the truth is different.

Makers have confirmed that this will not happen. The film will be released in theatres first. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh has given this information by posting on instagram. Taran Adarsh writes – Exclusive, '83' will be released first in the movie theater, whenever the right time comes. It will not be released on the OTT platform first.

83 was initially scheduled to release in theaters on April 10, but the release date of the film was also pushed forward due to the corona virus.
