Pooja Bhatt shared her thoughts about marriage and separation on social media. Her tweet came a day after Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao announced their divorce with a joint statement. She wrote in it that they would be co-parenting their son Azad Rao Khan.

Pooja said that relationships are not made on paper

Pooja Bhatt wrote, "There is nothing new about co-parenting if one decides to separate like a husband and wife. Relationships are not made on paper, they are written on one's heart. So during that and even after the end of the marriage, she rests on respect, it requires integrity. Few people can maintain it."

Pooja said that most people live a lie in a relationship

Pooja continued, "Most marriages end badly. Those that don't are seen as abnormal. People understand and accept bitterness and hatred more than kindness and compassion. That's why many people are a lie. Instead of facing the truth about him and the relationship he is in. Pooja married Manish Makhija in 2003. Though they separated in 2014, they have not divorced yet.
