Legal Notice Sent to Anushka Sharma, Web Series ‘Patal Lok’ Stuck in Controversies

Anushka Sharma has entered the digital platform world. She has just made her debut as a producer. Her web series 'Patal Lok' has been released. People are enjoying this series a lot. But now it is mired in controversies. Legal notice has been sent to the producer of the series, Anushka Sharma. Loire Guild member Viren Singh Gurung has sent a legal notice to Anushka.

In a notice sent to Anushka Sharma on May 18, it has been alleged that the use of the word 'caste' in the web series has insulted the entire Nepali community.

Gurung told The Quint, in a clip in the second episode of the series, the lady police officer uses caste words when interrogating a Nepali character. If the word Nepali was used, then we would have had no problem but the word used after that is not acceptable to us at all. Because Anushka Sharma is the producer of the series, a notice has been sent to her.

In Patal Lok, Jaideep Ahlawat, Neeraj Kabi, Abhishek Banerjee, Swastika Mukherjee, Niharika, Jagjit and Gul Panag are seen playing important roles. Many Bollywood celebrities have also praised this series.
