Mumbai: The web series 'Bebaakee' starring Kushal Tandon, Shiv Jyoti Rajput and Karan Jotwani will launch next month. The story of 'Bebaakee' is based on the life of two personalities of strong, but opposite character, Kaynat Sahni and Sufiyan Alaji. Kayanat is a simple and happy girl who has some dreams of her own, while the boy belongs to a very rich family.
Both of them have an affinity with journalism and this is why their paths collide and a relationship between the two begins to flourish. Although this relationship is about hate or love, they do not understand it. After this, there are many such incidents, which affect Sufiyan's family and his business.
Talking about the show, Kushal says, "When Ekta Kapoor Ma'am told me that it is a very interesting character, with lots of Gray shades, I found it quite fascinating."
He added, "I still remember taking martial arts training in Thailand. Ekta Ma'am told me that it was important for me to do it and I immediately agreed. I have been able to connect with this character quite easily because Kushal matches 75 percent of Sufiyan in real life. Sufiyan is one of the most exciting characters I have ever played and I'm sure my fans are going to like it a lot."
This series will be broadcast on Alt Balaji and Zee5.
