Actor Kit Harington will join his Game of Thrones co-star Richard Madden in the star-studded superhero film The Eternals. Harington, best known for his depiction of Jon Snow in immensely popular fantasy drama Game of Thrones, has been restricted into the essay role of non-eternal Dane Whitman.

Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige on Saturday went to the D23 Expo with an unexpected treat for all the Game of Thrones fans. He reported the addition of Harington to the group,  resulting in a mini-Game of Thrones reunion.

Madden, who attempted the role of Snow's sibling Robb Stark in the HBO series, will bring to life the role of Ikaris in the Marvel film.

It was a star-studded moment for fans when they saw the group of The Eternals, including Angelina Jolie, Salma Hayek, Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Lauren Ridloff, Brian Tyree Henry, Barry Keoghan, and Don Lee walked onto the stage. In any case, Harington couldn't be a part of the group on Saturday.

Alongside Harington, Feige reported two new cast individuals and their characters – Gemma Chan, who plays mankind adoring Sersi and Barry Keoghan, who depicts unapproachable maverick Druig, and was close by for the occasion.

Nanjiani plays cosmic-powered Kingo; Ridloff depicts the super-quick Makkari, the first hard of hearing saint in the Marvel Cinematic Universe; Henry plays the smart inventor Phastos. Hayek is ready to play the wise and spiritual leader  Ajak and Lia McHugh will be viewed as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite. Lee plays an incredible Gilgamesh. Jolie stars as the savage warrior Thena.

Director Chloe Zhao will bring the universe of Jack Kirby-made comic, which appeared on July 1976, alive. It is about super-powered beings  The Celestials and their villainous adversaries The Deviants in a war set a huge number of years back.

Feige additionally uncovered the idea of art images of each character giving a trace of the characters and their looks. The film is scheduled to open in the US in 2020.
